The Need

Adavale Resources needed a corporate update presentation to demonstrate their value to current stakeholders and prospective investors alike. For those unfamiliar, such corporate presentations are normally produced to showcase the company’s strengths. The feature a detailed overview of the company, its current activities, and potential for future growth.

Adavale had also identified that their website needed a few necessary updates in order to meet the needs of their audience.

The Collaboration

For this project, I was lucky enough to work with Cathy Moises, a renowned research analyst who currently holds board positions with companies such as WA Kaolin, Australian Potash, and Arafura Resources. Cathy’s expertise in the field of resources and mining was a perfect match for my experience in design and user experience, and together we made a fantastic team. Fun fact: She also happens to be my mother.

The Presentation

After Cathy had generated the necessary content, it was my task to compile it all into a visual presentation.

It was important that the design aligned with the industry standards of professionalism, incorporated the logo and colours of Adavale, and developed a brand identity that could be used across all future collateral.

The http://

For the website, an identified area for improvement was the missing content, and an existing website structure that didn’t facilitate the user journey. As such, a wireframe was created based upon the websites of industry leaders, and the typical journey of those looking for relevant information.

The pages were then populated with the appropriate content, derived from both the existing web content, and content from the presentation.

The Conclusion

The final presentation strengthens the company’s identity, and allows Adavale Resources to highlight their strengths in future communications with stakeholders and prospective investors.

The result: happy Maddie, happy clients.
